The Kiss, 4'x3'x2', cast bronze

The KISS, was a sensation everywhere it was shown. Fukuoka, Japan to Seoul, S. Korea. It had a personality and expression that was pure and clean with a magical mysterious discovery on the other side, drawn into the surface (when it was wax) a couple in a very dramatic kiss and conspiracy to be mixing in every way. In most of Asia outward expressions of a kiss were forbidden culturally, especially to foreigners- (Westerners.) The idea that a Westerner brought this expression to a formal showing was a new state of controversy not ever able to be expressed in the open mixing of the public. So it was like an underground rumble of words and mixed ideas of what could possibly happen next in the times we were living in (1995.)
